A public building with an open and flexible program. An architecture consisting of its primary elements, which are synthesized in the clarity and simplicity of the building structure. A wide roof made of exposed wooden beams gathers the different programs in a single gesture. The roof marks the line of the horizon and contrasts with the dramatic landscape of the mountains. The building is composed of repeated elements and simple details where the structural system corresponds to the character of the building. On the ground floor, the large spans of the multifunctional spaces are created by a series of concrete beams arranged transversely at regular intervals. On the upper floor, two longitudinal reinforced concrete walls contain the circulation and service functions, at the same time enabling tinformal and flexible spaces. The filigree structure of the wooden timber beams frames the building lightly, allowing the valley to flow through the edifice.
